La Petite Maison is yet another of the true classic restaurants in Dubai. Serving the best food the French cuisine has to offer, it’s like stepping into a gastronomical dream when having dinner here. For the hungry cocktail visitors, I can’t recommend strongly enough to go for the burrata bruschetta - it’s phenomenal. In the drinks section, go for the classics - these guys know what they are doing, and the best Sazerac in town is definitely served here.
Come here for a whiff of the French Riviera, go for the classical cocktails and get swept away by the number of beautiful people and the tunes from the skilled DJ.
Atmosphere: 6/8
LPM suffers from the same malady as its neighbor Zuma - there are too many guests at any given time - other than that, the place is a hit! Beautiful people, a resident DJ who knows his shit and razorsharp bartenders.
Cocktails: 6/8
Well-executed classics with small or no twists - La Petite Maison is one of the true classical restaurants in Dubai, and by that comes certain standards. No flair, just straight up good cocktails.
Bartenders: 7/8
With a few hardcore bartenders snatched from the dead and buried The Little Black Door, it’s hard to find anything to fault. As in a few other reviews, the only wish I have is to get up all bartenders to the very same high level - but that’s more a question of time than anything else.
Ice: 5/8
Negronis served with small ice cubes - that’s no country for old men; while they do have large, clear ice cubes at times. Consistency is key here - step it up!
